February 2020 Mary Wanless Workshop

This past weekend, I participated in the Mary Wanless Biomechanics Workshop for the third year in a row. The workshop teaches us how rider biomechanics affect the horse and help the rider gain confidence and influence over their horse. I believe firmly that taking lessons on my own horse is not enough to make me a well rounded instructor, so professional development opportunities like this workshop and the L program have become an integral part of my training program.
